MY PROCESS
We start by creating 3D models of the sets we will use and animate over. This gives use perfect perspective and light shifts. This method also allows us to place cameras throughout the scene replacing the need for intensive story-board work, while also giving a sense of the color and mood of the scene before animation.
We then paint over the rendered images, giving us a completed background ready for the addition of characters.
Whenever the camera moves throughout the scene we have rendered photos to guide the movement.
Starting again the process of painting over the rendered frame.
