I am focused on using technologies such as image scanning and Gaussian splats in order to preserve cultural and historical sites in 3D. These sites include museums, archeological sites, along with historical buildings and cultural landmarks.
I also work to provide game-like experiences focused on realism and education. With the photo scans I create, I can recreate the site through traditional 3D modeling methods in order to allow users the ability to walk around and interact with the site and its treasures.
Using this technology to open accessibility to sites such as hiking trails is another area of focus for me. Using Gaussian Splats, I am able to record hiking trails in 3D, allowing users the ability to walkthrough the trail unabridged. This can potentially allow people with physical disabilities the ability to experience and interact safely with these beautiful areas.
I also make experimental animations and still art.
Winans Animation aims to create new forms of experimental animation in an effort to bring a fresh take on the animation medium.
I am always looking for volunteers and artists to help bring our visions into reality.
I couldn't create the animated content I do without your support. Thank you for your time and interest that makes all of this possible!
